Webster Groves Pollinator Speaker Series

mason beeThe City of Webster Groves Green Spaces Commission is sponsoring an ongoing Pollinator Speaker Series at the Webster Groves Recreation Center, 33 E Glendale in Webster Groves. Check back often to find out ways you can help create pollinator habitats. Pollinators include the bees, butterflies, birds and bats, and have an important role in maintaining the health of the ecosystem and supporting agriculture by planting pollen grains, which in turn result in fruit and seeds.  Creating pollinator habitats also supports healthy creeks and streams by planting deep-rooted, native plants that help prevent stormwater runoff.

Workshop Schedule:

October 1, 2018 - The Importance of Urban Green Space for Pollinator Refuge

August 6, 2018 - Wild for Monarchs

Sponsored by Webster Groves Green Spaces Commission
