Hope you can join us for the Fall 2022 Make a Difference Day Stream Team Trash Bash at Deer Creek Park on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 from 8 - 11 a.m. We are looking for 30 volunteers.

Check-in and registration will start at 8 a.m. at Deer Creek Park at 849 E Pacific Ave.  Meet at lower parking lot where E Pacific dead-ends into the park for check-in and registration. 

Volunteers will pick up trash and remove debris, branches, excessive soil and silt around the trees and shrubs in the woods.

Please dress for the weather. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. Gloves and safety glasses are required and will be provided by Great Rivers Greenway. Tools will be provided by the City of Webster Groves. Trash bags will be provided.

Things to consider and bring:

• waiver form
• tools (shovels, rakes, pruning saw, trash grabbers)
• safety glasses
• water bottle
• sunscreen
• bug spray
• snacks
• hat 
• sturdy walking shoes
• dress in layers

Please be sure to follow COVID safety protocols if participating in this event.  You should not volunteer if you are sick, have any symptoms, have a sick family member, or have knowingly been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person within the last 14 days prior to the event.

Registered participants will be notified through email by Saturday, October 22 by 6 a.m. if cancellation becomes necessary.
