Join us for a tree planting and invasive species removal event at Brentwood Wetland on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at 9am - 12pm.

Volunteer Check-in starts at 8:45 a.m. Parking is available at 3000 S Brentwood Blvd. We will be working along the riparian corridor of Deer Creek planting native Missouri trees, provided by Forest Releaf of Missouri, and removing invasive plants along Deer Creek.

Tools and gloves will be provided. Fall is a perfect time to remove invasive plants to decrease competition and allow the native species to fill in and dominate the landscape. This is a family-friendly event that is open to all ages. 

Please dress for the weather. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting dirty.

• bug spray
• hat
• sturdy walking shoes
• dress in layers

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for your safety. Participants will be notified via email by 4:00 PM on Friday, November 1st if the event must be rescheduled.
