Webster Groves Green Keepers

Webster Groves logoVolunteer picking up trashDo you like working outdoors and learning about nature? Join Green Keepers to create and maintain abundant, healthy habitats and greenspaces throughout our community to sustain our local ecosystems and preserve our greenspaces for generations to come.

Green Keepers are a dedicated team of community volunteers eager to preserve, protect, and improve public greenspaces and habitats across Webster Groves.

We meet regularly, providing hands on support, networking with neighbors, and improving our ecosystems. Activities include; gardening and planting in parks and open spaces; seed saving and invasive removal in riparian corridors, restored woodlands, and prairies; networking and attending ecologically focused educational sessions.

No special experience is required; only enthusiasm and a love for Webster’s rich green space heritage. We will teach you all you need to know to help make a difference!

To learn more about Green Keepers volunteer opportunities and events contact Yvonne Steingruby, Park Superintendent at (314) 963-5457 or email [email protected]. Join our email list below!
