Hope you can join us for the Fall 2026 Make a Difference Day for Project 1: Trash Bash at Deer Creek and Shady Creek. We will be meeting at Lorraine Davis Park Pavilion at 8:30 a.m. (parking at 137 E. Waymire Ave., additional parking available at 145 E Waymire). The work session ends at 10:45 a.m. We are looking for 20 volunteers.

• Tools and gloves will be provided however, volunteers are welcome to bring their own.
• Volunteers should also bring a water bottle, bug spray, hat, eye protection, sturdy work clothing and boots.
• These events will most likely be held in light rain or shine.
• Volunteer signup sheets will be provided on site.

Following a morning of hard work cleaning up trash, trash bash volunteers are invited to attend a picnic and watershed celebration at Deer Creek Park from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Volunteers will be notified through email by by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct 23rd if the event is canceled due to storms or severe weather.
