Hope you can join us for the Fall 2021 Make a Difference Day Stream Team Trash Bash at Lorraine Davis Park and points along Deer Creek and Shady Grove Creek on Saturday, October 23th, 2021 from 8:30 - 11 a.m. We are looking for 25 volunteers.

Check-in and registration will start at 8:15 at Lorraine Davis Park pavilion at 145 E Waymire Ave.  The group will break off into subgroups and collect trash and debris from Deer Creek and Shady Grove Creek in all areas adjacent to park property. 

Please dress for the weather. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. Gloves and safety glasses are required and will be provided by Great Rivers Greenway. Tools will be provided by the City of Webster Groves. 

Things to consider and bring:

• waiver form
• safety glasses
• water bottle
• sunscreen
• bug spray
• snacks
• hat 
• sturdy walking shoes
• dress in layers

Please be sure to follow COVID safety protocols if participating in this event.  You should not volunteer if you are sick, have any symptoms, have a sick family member, or have knowingly been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person within the last 14 days prior to the event.

Registered participants will be notified through email by Friday, October 22 by 5 p.m. if cancellation becomes necessary.
