In celebration of 2015 International Year of Soils, Doug Peterson, State Soil Health Conservationist with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will present on "Rainscaping: Restoring and Maintaining Healthy Urban Soils."  This hands-on classroom and outdoor workshop will offer those that attend a chance to gain knowledge that they can apply to their own property and rainscaping projects at home. It will be held at Mary Institute and Country Day School (MICDS) on Tuesday, October 6th in Room 202A in the new McDonnell Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Facility. Click here for a detailed map with directions.
