We are looking for 20 volunteers to help the Webster Groves Women’s Garden Association and Green Space Advisory Commission to plant grasses, perennials and small shrubs attractive to a variety of pollinators at Ruhe Park. Work will include planting new plants and weeding other parts of Ruhe Park. This event is for Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 22nd.
Place: Ruhe Park, 824 Old Elm Ln.

Time: 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Things to bring:
- waiver form - can be emailed to [email protected]
- safety glasses
- water bottle
- sunscreen
- bug spray
- snacks
- hat
- sturdy walking shoes
Please dress for the weather. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. Recommended gardening tools to bring include work gloves, round point shovel, hand trowels, hand shovels, etc.
Please be sure to follow COVID safety protocols if participating in this event. You should not volunteer if you are sick, have any symptoms, have a sick family member, or have knowingly been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person within the last 14 days prior to the event.
We are hoping the weather will cooperate. Registered participants will be notified via email on or before Saturday, October 22nd by 6 a.m. if cancellation becomes necessary.
