Happy Spring Green Keepers! We hope you will join us in planting 150 trees in honor of National Arbor Day! The Webster Groves Parks Division will host the Arbor Day tree planting activity at Barbre Park on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 from 3 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. (Arbor Day Celebration to follow). Trees have been generously provided by Forest ReLeaf of Missouri. We are looking for 30 volunteers.
Check-in and registration will start at 3 p.m. at Barbre Park at 411 N Elm. Parking is available along Kirkham and portions of N Elm.
Things to bring:
- waiver form
- safety glasses
- water bottle
- sunscreen
- bug spray
- snacks
- hat
- sturdy walking shoes
- dress in layers
Please dress for the weather. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Registered participants will be notified via email if cancellation becomes necessary due to inclement weather.
Please be sure to follow COVID safety protocols if participating in this event. You should not volunteer if you are sick, have any symptoms, have a sick family member, or have knowingly been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person within the last 14 days prior to the event.
