Join us for a tree planting event at Lorraine Davis Park on Friday, May 29th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Volunteer Check-in starts at 8:45 a.m. Parking is available along Lorraine Davis Lane between Thornton and Ravine. We will be working near the riparian corridor of Deer Creek planting native Missouri trees, provided by Forest ReLeaf of Missouri.
Tools and gloves will be provided. This is a family-friendly event that is open to all ages. ![]()
Please dress for the weather. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting dirty.
Things to bring:
- waiver form - print out or email in advance
- water bottle
- sunscreen
- bug spray
- hat
- sturdy walking shoes
- dress in layers
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for your safety. Participants will be notified via email by 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 28th if the event must be rescheduled.
